Sense Ability Therapy CIC (Community Interest Company) are specialists in Adult rehabilitation: Neurological conditions, balance, falls prevention, pain management and women’s health. We also run a small musculoskeletal service treating back, neck and joint problems. All our profits go towards purchasing equipment and running courses that benefit our clients and the community.

Only provider in South Devon of innovative technologies such as Litegait and MindMotion Go: Litegait walking therapy offers the opportunity to stand and walk again safely to many people who might otherwise be confined to a wheelchair or their home. The mobile harness system is fully adjustable to offer as much or as little support as needed. This allows people with minimal ability to weight bear or with minimal lower limb strength, the opportunity to stand/walk and the physio to help with the movement, knowing that the client is safe and supported. Access to such therapy is often unavailable in the community due to the need for extra staff members for safety. This therapy is now available at Sense Ability Therapy CIC.

Mind Motion GO is a virtual reality gaming device that works in a physiotherapy setting. It was designed by neuroscientists and rehabilitation experts and were specifically designed to meet the needs of patients with specific impairments and are aimed at improving specific functional movement patterns. MindMotion GO activities are chosen to meet an individual patient’s ability level, rather than the pre-defined movements of the “general” population and therefore offer a new and exciting way for our clients to work towards their rehabilitation goals.
