IPPLEPEN BOWLING CLUB HAS A BRAND NEW OUTDOOR GREEN

For anyone wondering what was going on at Ipplepen Bowling Club over the last nine or ten days, the 14 year old bowls green has been taken up, and the Club now have a brand new outdoor all weather carpeted green.

Throughout the covid situation, when bowls has been allowed to take place, we have run a booking system, whereby you can ring Shirley on 01803 813980 and she can book you in with three or five other players, so that you can play a pairs or a triples game. This will still continue, with names and contact details recorded for track and trace purposes.

With more restrictions being lifted we are now also running our Roll-up mornings, when you can just come along to the Clubhouse on a Tuesday and Friday morning before 9.45am to sign in and a place will be found for you in a team of others. If you are a beginner and prefer to have a go with say only one or two other players this can be arranged also.

So come along, and see what all the excitement is about, you are always welcome. The Club will also be open on Saturday 14th August, so if you are in the recreation field enjoying the Carnival festival, don’t forget to pop in and see us too.
